The Southwest Users Group (SWUG) annual conference brings together GIS users from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The conference rotates from state to state, typically taking place in the fall of each year.
SWUG consists of users of ESRI software products from federal, state, local governments, as well as the private sector. No other regional conference brings together so many GIS users from such a wide range of GIS specialties. Career-enhancing opportunities include workshops presented by fellow GIS users, professional training from ESRI and other GIS organizations, keynote speakers selected from the leaders in the community, and networking opportunities with colleagues from all over the southwest region.
In addition, many ESRI business partners and other GIS vendors participate and allow users the opportunity to view the latest enhancements to ESRI software as well as new data products and services.
